Hogpen Gap Ice Climbing
HogPen Gap is loacted on Georgia Highway 348. You will pass through Hogpen Gap if you use 348 to travel over the mountain to Helen. It is well know for Ice Climbing. Ice Climbers can usually be seen at Hogpen Gap in the winter months. Beware that the road is sometimes closed for ice and can be very dangerous when icy.
Winding Stair Gap is located on Highway 64 about 15 minutes west of Franklin North Carolina.
